Hey everyone,
this week I finally received my first batch of aluminium to go to work on the case itself.
With these panels I am starting with a new front panel (well temporary front panel) and a motherboard tray extender.
In the spot where usually the HDD cages are will now come a 2nd 240mm radiator (placed vertically).
So the case needs to be strong there and 1,5mm thick aluminium will do the trick.
I started out with cutting the previous front of the case out of it because I am not going to be placing fans there.
Then I cut out the rear fan holes. Not because of the grill preventing airflow, but because of asthetics.
And last I cut out the fanhole grill in the bottom of the case. This os just so that I can reach cables and maybe tubing one another part of the case is finished.
After this I put in both of the panels, fitted them with m3 screws after tapping m3 thread in the holes.
And lastly I used an MNPC radiator lay-out to cut out the radiator shape and fitting holes so I could fit the radiator.
That is is for this week. Next week I hope to have the new top and front here. And 2 other new parts
